Osteria del Treno is located in a very central and strategic area of Milan, just a short distance from Milano Centrale Railway Station and Porta Venezia. It is highly accessible via public transport.
🚇 By Metro and Train:
Milano Centrale Station (Metro M2 Green Line / M3 Yellow Line & Trains): From the main station, the venue is just a 7-10 minute walk (650 meters). Head south towards Via Vittor Pisani and turn into Via San Gregorio.
Repubblica Station (Metro M3 Yellow Line & Suburban Railway/Passante): Only a 5-minute walk (400 meters) via Via Tunisia and Via San Gregorio.
Porta Venezia Station (Metro M1 Red Line): Approximately an 8-10 minute walk via Corso Buenos Aires and turning into Via San Gregorio.
🚌 By Tram and Bus:
Tram lines 1, 5, 9, 10, and 33 stop just a few steps from the venue (main stops: Stazione Centrale, Repubblica, or Piazza Cincinnato).
🚗 By Car & Final Route:
If you prefer to arrive by car, the final approach is typically via Via Vittor Pisani or Corso Buenos Aires, turning directly into Via San Gregorio.
⚠️ Traffic Limited Zone (ZTL): Please note that while the venue is located just outside the restricted “Area C” toll zone (the border is along Via Tunisia), you should check your GPS route carefully to avoid accidentally entering the restricted area.
Parking: Street parking (blue lines) is very limited. We highly recommend using one of the nearby secure indoor multi-story car parks, such as Garage San Gregorio or the parking facilities around Piazza della Repubblica.
