Organizing chapter

The International Water Association (IWA) is the largest global network for water professionals, connecting experts from more than 140 countries since 1950.
The Young Water Professionals (YWP) Programme empowers early-career professionals under 35, fostering knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration across research, industry, and policy.

The YWP Italian Chapter, host of YWPEU 2026, gathers young researchers and practitioners working in utilities, companies, and academia. With more than 200 members and over 1,600 social media followers, it is one of the most active YWP networks in Europe.

YWPIT’s Governing Member is Utilitalia, the Italian utilities federation.
